Last Updated 21 March 2011, 12:53 IST

Other members of the committee are the Deputy Speaker of the House and an MP.
"The committee shall give its report on Wednesday, and the parliament shall discuss the matter later," said MP Dhawa Tsering.

The Tibetan parliament today discussed ways in Mecleodganj to amend the constitution to facilitate the transfer of Dalai Lama’s political power to an elected leader.

There would be no further discussion on the Dalai Lama's decision to resign, a spokesperson of the Tibetan parliament said.

The Dalai Lama announced his political retirement on March 14 after which the Tibetan parliament-in-exile passed a resolution on March 18, urging him to reconsider decision.
