Nagarjuna Construction Company bags three orders worth Rs 776 cr

Nagarjuna Construction Company today said it has secured three orders totaling Rs 776 crore from various vendors for construction related works.

The company has bagged first order valued at Rs 600 crore from Employees State Insurance Corporation, second order worth Rs 136 crore from Mezgon Dock Ltd and third order for Rs 40 crore from National Institute of Technology, aggregating to Rs 776 crore, Nagarjuna said in filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company has bagged Rs 600 crore order from Employees State Insurance Corporation, New Delhi for construction of medical college and related works at Mandi, Himachal Pradesh to be completed over a period of two years, the filing added.

The second order worth Rs 136 crore is from Mezgon Dock Ltd, Mumbai for Mazdock modernisation project, works to be over within 28 months, the filing said.

The third and the last order valued at Rs 40 crore is from National Institute of Technology, Assam, for construction of 500 capacity boy's hostel to be completed over a period of 16 months, it added.

Shares of Nagarjuna Construction were trading at Rs 137 on the BSE, up 2.12 per cent from previous close.
