McDonald's to expand outlets in South, West

Speaking to Deccan Herald, McDonald’s India (West & South Region) Vice-Chairman Amit Jatia said “We have a long-term view of the market. Alongside our successful QSCV (Quality-Service-Cleanliness-Value) model, we also aim at providing affordable and convenient dining to deliver best all-round family experience.”

Being recently appointed as developmental licensee, Jatia said it is an opportunity to develop the brand to suit Indian preferences and seek out newer markets in the regions by identifying consumers and developing new products. McDonald’s (West & South) clocked a compound annual growth rate of 30 to 40 per cent Y-o-Y.  

McDonalds is also launching a new range of burgers and wraps on March 28, 2011. The Spicy Chicken Burger, Spicy Paneer Burger, Big Spicy Wrap (available in Chicken and Paneer) are priced between Rs 85 and Rs 110, Jatia said.
