* Ujjwal Nikam appointed as Public Prosecutor in December last.

* M L Tahiliyani appointed as judge to conduct the trial in January, 2009.

* 11,000-page charge sheet served on Kasab in February last week.

*Anjali Waghmare appointed as Kasab's lawyer in March end.

*Kasab appears through video-conferencing in March end.

*Waghmare removed as Kasab's lawyer in April first week.

*Abbas Kazmi appointed as defence lawyer in mid-April.

*Trial begins on April 17, 2009.

* On July 20, Kasab confesses to his role in the 26/11 terror attacks.
