As Yuvraj Singh hit the winning boundary Thursday night, excitement reached a crescendo and businessman Ashok Arora flashed out his licensed revolver to fire two shots.

One shot hit a wall and boomeranged on Anil Verma, former president of Agra's National Chamber of Industries and Commerce, whose back started bleeding.

The match was being watched on a projector screen at the Jaipur House colony.

Verma was immediately rushed to a private nursing home, where doctors said he was fine.
No complaint had been filed, police said.
