Bipasha paired against Rana Daggubatti, not Abhishek in DMD

Interestingly, Abhishek Bachchan is plays the protagonist in the film, which releases on April 22.

The pairing was being kept under wraps till the initial promos and interviews. Sources insist that the makers did not want to reveal the pairing and instead were keen to build on this coy plot till the promo of a song 'te-amo' was on air.

"Rana and Bipasha share beautiful on screen chemistry and have been bonding off screen as well," sources close to the development said.

Rana Daggubatti, who makes his Bollywood debut with the film, is the son of south film producer D Suresh Babu and nephew of actor Nagarjuna Akkineni.
