High Court dismisses former DGP's petition

George, on  May 31, 2003, had lodged the complaint with the Indiranagar police that his estranged wife Sheela George,  along with Dinakar, had gatecrashed into his house on the first floor and had threatened him.

He had stated that Sheela, after filing a matrimonial case, was working with Dinakar as a clerk.

George had alleged that on May 30, 2003, the duo were found in a compromising position at the first floor of his house and when he tried to take the pictures of them together, Dinakar had threatened him and damaged his camera.

He was a cardiac patient and had suffered a shock and had lodged the complaint before with the Police.

Dinakar had moved the Court seeking to quash the FIR.

Justice Anand Byra Reddy dismissed the petition, saying “ as alleged in the FIR, she was estranged from the respondent and was employed as a clerk with the first respondent, the matter needs to be probed.”
