Speech craft

Sunshine Toastmasters club is conducting Speech Craft, a workshop on public speaking and leadership skills for eight consecutive Saturdays from the August 1, 2009. The workshop costs Rs 2,500 and the programme is recognised by Toastmasters International.

Computer fundamentals
Applications are invited from SC/ST unemployed youth residing in Bangalore Rural and Urban areas for a free training in 'Corporate training course on Computer Fundamentals Operating System & Office Tools For SC/ST Unemployed Youth’ to be held through Computer Training Institutes situated in Bangalore.

The module of the training will include: Computer Appreciation, Window, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power point, HTML, Introduction to Internet, Front Page 2000, Value Addition Fox Pro/ Access, Operating System Unix/Linux, Value Addition Basics of Programming, Programming under “C" upto O level. The duration of the training is six months for four hours everyday and five days in a week. Candidates whose annual family income is not more than Rs 2 lakh per annum, who have finished 10 + 2 or above and who did not have computer as subject either in 10+2 or at graduation level are eligible to apply. The age limit is between 18 to 30 years as on July 30, 2009.
