Karnataka to take on Delhi in quarterfinals

 Already facing the heat due to the pull-out of several teams, the Karnataka State Women’s Hockey Association was left scratching its head after the stadium officials asked them to make their own provisions for supply of water at the stadium.

The KSWHA officials filled up the sump from where water is used both to keep the pitch cool and for drinking and other purposes. Wary of having to fill the sump a second time in one day, KSWHA were forced to advance the final match of the day from 5.00 pm tp 3.00 pm.
Kavitha and Reena slammed five goals each as Madhya Pradesh crushed Dadra Nagar Haveli 14-0 to march into the quarterfinals.

Karnataka  will take on on Delhi in the quarterfinal on Sunday.

Quarterfinal line-up: On Sunday: PEPSU vs Bhopal; Karnataka vs Delhi.
On Monday: Bombay vs Madhya Pradesh; MP Academy vs Haryana.
