They painted their imagination

The event was organised by “Dream a Little Dream” and Sparsh Trust, saw children  drawing bright and colourful pictures, from their heart and soul, portraying a future of their dreams. Vinay (8) drew his dream house and car. His friend Anant dreamt of being a policeman and drew the helicopter he would use to catch criminals. Kalawati, Mariya and Matilda aged 11, 13 and 14, drew a classroom filled with students as they dreamt of being teachers.

With the ongoing cricket fever, Shreyas (14) drew a picture of himself on a cricket pitch wishing to be like his hero M S Dhoni. Others drew hospitals to express their ambition of becoming doctors and serve the nation. Some others wanted to serve the nation by joining the armed forces. Painting the Indian flag waving proudly in the sky, Babu (9), Abhi (8) and Darshan (12) saw themselves wearing the Army colours when they grew up.
