The title deeds have been eluding the Rajagopalnagar residents for the past 35 years. On Sunday, during an inspection of the area by Siddaiah, the slum dwellers pleaded with the commissioner to give them the title deeds.
Book case against guilty
Directing officials to desilt the nearby lake, Siddaiah asked BBMP officers to book cases against those industries guilty of releasing effluents into the water body.
The commissioner asked the officers to ensure that the slum was provided with all possible amenities.
