Brother in dock over Noida sisters' condition

Two days after their rescue and the death of the elder sister Anuradha Behal, it has now become clear that the sisters were not on good terms with their brother’s wife.

Sources said that the sisters were extremely upset over what they felt “too much interference” of Vipin’s in-laws in their family affairs. “The sisters were very much upset after Vipin left them and started living separately with his wife,” they added.

“They loved their brother very much and did not want him to leave them,” sources said. Anuradha had even approached a local lawyer some two years back seeking his help in bringing back their brother Vipin Behal home to live with them.

“Anuradha wanted to know if his brother could be separated from his wife,” Rajanish Yadav, a local lawyer, whom Anuradha approached, said on Thursday.

Sources also said that the family property and the money left by their parents were at the root of the problem though Vipin had claimed that he had left the house and cash for the two sisters.

Meanwhile, the condition of the younger sister Sonali Behal continues to be “serious” and she remained in the intensive care unit. “Sonali’s blood pressure is unstable,” doctors attending on her said on Thursday.
