Shambhu Modak, a resident of Bokaro Steel City in Jharkhand, was found dead yesterday inside the room at Hotel Lafa, situated in Lainchaur on the outskirts of the city, according to Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Circle.
The reason behind Modak taking this extreme step is not yet known as no suicide note was found inside the room, they said.
The body has been sent to National Forensic Department at Maharajgunj for postmortem, police said. PTI SBP PMS APV 04171027
