Thrilling: ‘Final Destination 3’Death comes calling

Final Destination 3’ airs on HBO on April 19 at 9 pm. The movie stars Mary Winstead, Ryan Merriman, Kristopher Lemche and Alexz Johnson. On what should be one of the happiest days of her life, high school senior Wendy joins her friends for a graduation night celebration at a local amusement park. Secured in her seat on a roller coaster, Wendy experiences a vivid premonition of a fatal accident in which the roller coaster becomes a death trap for her and her friends. Emerging from her terrifying vision and still on the ride platform, Wendy demands to let out of the coaster car.

When a fight breaks out, a handful of students are forcibly ejected from the ride. As they watch their classmates and friends from the ground below, Wendy’s premonition proves nightmarishly true — the coaster careens out of control, and all those aboard perish. But that’s only the beginning. Those who survive the disaster discover that fate is hard to escape. They were meant to die — and death is not so easily cheated.

Follow Adam Richman on ‘Man Vs Food’ as he travels across the United States — from small unassuming towns to big flashy cities — in search of famed local restaurants to test his limits with each city’s toughest food challenge. ‘Man Vs Food’ airs on April 19 at 10.30 pm on TLC.

Getting in shape

Discovery Turbo presents ‘Wheelers Dealers’ on April 19 at 8.30 pm. Mike Brewer and Edd China put their refurbishing skills to test on the programme. They take on restoration jobs to turn the old retired and salvaged cars out from the scrap yard, giving them a complete refurbished look — with cash returns for their hard work. Watch some of the most expensive cars getting back in shape on this show.
