Gadinada utsav in Mandekolu from April 27

District Kannada Sahithya Parishat President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura said Mangalore, Bantwal, Puttur and Sullia taluks are border taluks.

The Gadinada Utsav should try to understand the condition of Kannada medium schools in the border areas and find a solution to their problems along with unveiling the culture of the region.

Others in the meeting said that the Gadinada utsav should give priority to the setting up of libraries in border areas, repairig the rural school buildings and providing basic facilities to the school.

The meet decided to invite Karnataka Border Development Authority Chairman Chandrahas Gurappa Bellada, District-in-Charge Minister Krishna Palemar and others for the utsav.

Puttur Assistant Commissioner Dr Harish Kumar, Kannada and Culture department Assistant Director Mangala Nayak and others were present.
