JOIN USRamanna obtained his Master Degree during 1971-73 from Mysore University.
He worked as a Curator in the Folklore Museum of Mysore University during 1982 to 2005. He is an expert in Folk dance and presented more than 300 dances.
He has trained over 2,000 people including a group of foreigners in the art of Kamsale (Shaiva Tradition of Malai Mahadeshwara).
In April 1992 he has toured England at the invitation of British Council and gave cultural programmes in London and Rugby.
Best physique Award
He got best physique Award in 1972. Rangayana, Mysore has honoured him in 1992. He has worked as a resource person in Summer camp organised by Natana, Mandya Ramesh troupe in 2005.
He has directed the following dramas Haddu meerida Haadi, Dhanvanthri Chikitse, Yugaantha, Yelu Samudrada Aache, Plastic Rakshasa. He has acted in more than 70 dramas including Ranapratapa Simha, Vamsha Vriksha, Kari Banta, Hyder.
