In his condolence message, the Dalai Lama said, "I am saddened by the passing away of the respected spiritual leader. I would like to convey my condolences and prayers to his followers, devotees and admirers."
Sri Sathya Sai Baba breathed his last at a hospital in his hometown of Puttaparti in Andhra Pradesh yesterday. He was 84.
