JOIN USChief Minister B S Yeddyurappa is expected to inaugurate the conference. Adichunchanagiri Seer Sri Balagangadharanatha will preside over the programme, while Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra will participate, said Fair Price Shop Association President T Krishnappa.
He was speaking at a news conference here on Wednesday. Ministers R Ashoka and Shobha Karandlaje, Deputy Chairman of Council Vimalagowda, MP N Chaluvarayaswamy, Fair Price Shops Association Honorary President Sitaram Yechury, Food and Civil Supplies Board president M C Ashwath will also participate in the programme.
“There are a lot of problems plaguing Fair Price Shops. The conference has been organised keeping these in mind and also putting a stop to fake cards.
Association State General Secretary M Shivaprasad, Mysore District President Mayappa were present.
Special lecture
All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysore is conducting a ‘Monthly Public Lecture Series’ Programme on April 30 at 10 am.
Dr T K Prakash, Lecturer in ENT will speak on “Causes, Identification & Management of ENT problems in school children”.
The lecture will be carried out at Seminar Hall, Academic block, AIISH Main Campus, according to a release.
