JOIN USAddressing a convention organised by the Karnataka Pradesh Banjara Seva Sangha here, he called upon the community leaders and the Minister for Libraries Revu Naik Belamagi to ensure that the construction of the Bhavan was completed on time.
Yeddyurappa further said that the community leaders should become more proactive to ensure the community is represented, and the needs of their people were addressed properly.
He criticised the government officials for delaying in the name of legal hurdles and other technicalities.
"If the government officials delay your work, don't fret. Anybody is free to come to me and get their work processed," he said. The chief minister also said that in the recently concluded convention of Veerashashaivas in Mysore, his statements were misinterpreted.
"When I tendered apology in my address, it was not alone to Veerashaiva seers but to all the seers in Karnataka. It was my way of seeking their guidance," he said.
