SFI protest against denial of admission to college

Appointment of lecturers for new courses demanded

The college is denying admission, claiming that government has permitted only 100 students for Ist year degree courses as a result the local students are compelled to go to far off places for higher education, they alleged.

They demanded permission for the admission of all the students.

Basic amenities for the college should be provided, exemption from fee be permitted and bus pass should also be provided, they demanded.

They also demanded for the appointment of lecturers for the new courses, construction of the building should be completed so that classes can be commenced early.

SFI district unit president Amaresh, Ramachandra Gowda, Nayaz, Rajanna, M S Manjunath, Manjul and others led the protest.
