While Kanimozhi was sitting along side her Singapore-based husband Aravindan, she was flipping through an English book througout the day-long proceedings.
A composed 43-year-old Kanimozhi also exchanged greetings and pleasantries with some of the other accused Shahid Usman Balwa, Asif Balwa and Vinod Goenka much before her party colleague and friend Raja arrived in the court from the lock- up room.
Wearing a white and blue printed 'salwar-kameez', the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's daughter was the first to arrive in the courtroom of special judge O P Saini along with Aravindan and Sharad Kumar.
Some DMK supporters were also seen in and around the court room and after the proceedings they greeted each other before Kanimozhi, her husband and Sharad Kumar left the court.
