Hair care

Avoid hanging out in the sun without protection for your hair and scalp. Wear a scarf, hat or cap to protect your hair from direct sunlight.

Staying hydrated is important for healthy hair as well as for your overall health, so make sure that you are drinking enough water.

Avoid taking hot showers or washing your hair with hot water, use warm or cool water instead. The heat can dry out or damage your hair.

Wash your hair with a deep-cleansing shampoo and dab conditioner on the ends and frizziest parts of the hair.

When the summer heat is hottest, wear your hair up in a knot, bun or braids.

Get your hair trimmed every six to eight weeks, your hair grows faster in the warmer months and frizzes are more common in the summer season.

Use hair products that are as all-natural as possible.
