JOIN USAniketh’s father Satyanarayan is a scientist at the master control facility of ISRO in the city, while his mother Anitha is a clerk in Canara Bank.
Having scored a century each in English, Science and Maths, the total marks of this student of United Academy school in the city is 620/625. His marks in Kannada and Hindi read 124 and 97. Aniketh is just one mark shy of another century in Social Studies.
He was confident of being among the top five and seeing himself at the summit has brought him unlimited joy.
“Interest in science came naturally to him it may be said and he has the habit of reading science journals. Classical music is another field of interest for him. However, he had kept himself away from his favourite pastimes for eight months now preparing for the exams,” says a proud father.
Future priorities
Clearing IIT and AIEEE are among his future priorities.
His affinity for science was evident right from the time he was in class VIII, when he had cleared the national talent search examination (NTSE).
His mother’s pride is obvious when she lists out the prizes won by Aniketh in various competitions.
