Communal fight in Hindalga prison

Both the groups assaulted each other and even threatened each other.

According to sources, seven office-bearers of a Hindu organisation including Ravi alias Takka Ravi, Pujari and others have been lodged in the Central Prison at Hindalga after their alleged involvement in the murder of rowdy Kabir at Mangalore and since then clashes between them and SIMI activists also lodged in the prison have become a routine.

Fight broke between both the groups on Friday, when SIMI activists Liyaqat and Dr Manroz were proceeding to hospital. Both the groups attacked each other but were separated by warden. Activists of Hindu organisations alleged that SIMI activists threatened to bomb them. Both the groups filed complaints.
