In the same period last fiscal, the company’s consolidated net profit was Rs 9.1 crore.
VIP’s consolidated net sales for the quarter under review increased 20.94 per cent at Rs 166.3 crore, compared to Rs 137.5 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2010.
For the year ended March 31, VIP’s net profit grew 83.64 per cent at Rs 88.7 crore, compared to Rs 48.3 crore in 2009-10, it said.
The company’s consolidated net sales in 2010-11 increased 17.71 per cent at Rs 757.7 crore, as against Rs 643.7 crore in the previous year, VIP added.
