Hamid Khan, his wife Yasmeen Khanum and Syed Amjad Khan,who were arrested yesterday, are natives of Bangalore, Superintendent of Police Dr P S Harsha told reporters here today.
He said the billets were cut near Hogenakkal in Tamil Nadu and were being transported to a sandalwood oil extraction factory in Rolla village on the Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh border.
Police also seized a car which was being used by the trio to transport the billets.
