India to be guest country at 9th World Investment Conference

"It is our desire to promote multilateral but also bilateral relationships. Every year we honour one or two countries and this year we are honouring India and Morocco, " Jean Bernard Guerree, CEO of World Investment Conferences, told EuAsiaNews.

Giving the reason behind choosing India as a guest country, he said the investment opportunities between Europe and India are now rising.

"We need to continue educating businesses and political leaders about these opportunities. There is a definite appetite from Indian companies to set up base in Europe and vice-versa. We need to maintain this momentum and enhance," said Guerree who was in Brussels to attend the European Business Summit.

The three-day international event's theme will be "Gearing up European Growth for Global Benefits".
