They stormed into the hotel on Brigade Road and arrested Mahi B (22) from New Delhi, Sonia Kamble (21) from Pune and Mary Agnes (37), the hotel receptionist, of Bangalore.
Three cellphones and cash were seized.

A senior police office confirmed to Deccan Herald that a young Congress MLA was part owner of the hotel, but the officer refused to identify the legislator.

The officer said police would be raiding more premises and hotels suspected of hosting prostitution. “All these outlets, including the hotels, enjoyed the blessings of officers in the uniformed service and senior politicians.”

In another raid, on the Grand Meridien Hotel in Seshadripuram, the police arrested Sania Ansari (22) of Mumbai. They are on the lookout for Rajesh and Kumar alias Michael.

The two men operated through their website Bangalore Escorts. They had mentioned phone numbers on the website for customers to contact them.

Rajesh and Michael contacted girls through their network in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune. They booked rooms in posh hotels either in their names or in the girls' names. They collected between Rs 10,000 and 30,000 per customer. The customers would deposit the money with the receptionist, who would guide them to the rooms where the girls waited.

Sania was staying in the hotel for the past eight days and had earned Rs 1.80 lakh. She transferred the cash from HDFC Bank, Kumara Krupa Branch, Bangalore to HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank and Bank of India daily, police said.
