Though the State government respects the judgment delivered by the Supreme Court with regard to the disqualification of 16 MLAs, certain aspects of the ruling remains unacceptable. Hence a review petition will be filed, he said.

Lauding the Centre’s decision of rejecting Governor H R Bhardwaj’s report seeking suspension of the BJP government, the minister said the UPA led government in the Centre has sent out a right signal to the nation underlining the importance of democracy.
Moreover, the MLAs in the Opposition parties - Congress and the JD(S) - were unhappy about hurdles posed by their parties in the path of development and have expressed their desire to join the BJP, Suresh Kumar said.
