I want to cure ills of district :DC

Speaking on the occasion, he said “I will continue the good work which have been  carried out by the previous Deputy Commissioner.”

“I had big dreams. Hence I wrote IAS instead of practicing as a doctor. As a doctor, I could have served only patients and the family members. As a Deputy Commissioner, I have an opportunity to serve the people of the district,” he said.

Basically hailing from Alleppey in Kerala, Dr Reju has a BHMS degree. After serving as a doctor in Koilandy in Kozhikode, he passed IAS in 2005 batch. He had served as a probationary officer in Shimoga for two years. He had also served in Tarikere. Since 2009, he had been serving as Deputy Secretary of Staff and Administrative Reforms. “During my probationary period, I had come to Udupi. I will try to get to know on the status of the district in the next 10 days,” he added.
