The legendary filmmaker's three children - sons Shandar, Tazdar and daughter Rukhsar - have been locked in a fierce property battle. Also, Shandar had submitted an application to Khar Police station demanding arrest of his sister Rukhsar and her son Waseem for alleged theft and forgery of share certificates.
Preity had then tweeted about the 'delay' in the registration of the FIR and had also accompanied Amrohi in her personal capacity at the police station.
Thereafter the stories in media seemed to have annoyed her. "I will request journalists 2 not resort 2 write stories about someone else wanting to be my DAD. He is NO MORE so please have some respect. Otherwise I will have no option but to resort to legal means. Journalists prefer gossip over facts and this is disgusting and unacceptable by me (sic)," Preity said.
The dimpled beauty also said she has a collection of completely 'false articles' and would put it together in a book with photos of the concerned journalists and call it - "a journalist hall of shame."
