Giving her all with no regrets

A hot topic for many is the sexy model-turned-actor Vedita Pratap Singh, who apparently has four to five lovemaking scenes of her with most of the lead actors in the film. “Vedita seemed very confident while shooting for the lovemaking scenes. Earlier, the entire unit was apprehensive whether she would agree to do it because she has a ‘bitchy’ role in the movie (sic). But it’s a strong and important role,” says a source from the unit.

In an industry that’s still warming up to lovemaking scenes in movies, tongues may really start wagging about this piece of information. So what is Vedita’s take on the whole thing? She says as a matter-of-factly, “I have no regrets personally and am really proud to be starring in a movie which comprises such stalwarts from the industry and tells a meaningful story on the harsh realities of life. As for the sex scenes, well I am an actress, and it is my duty to be loyal to the script. My intentions were purely professional and the scene was necessary for the story, so why should I regret?”
