On the allegations that BJP is a party of Veerashaivas, he said Janata Dal (Secular)  leaders have no moral right to pass such comments. They introspect how they illtreated the Veerashaiva community leaders like  Babagouda Patil, M Rajashekharamurthy, Vijay Sankeshwara and others while they were in JD(S). The JD(S) should know that many vokkaliga  leaders had been elected on BJP ticket.
