The event provided a platform for students to clear their doubts on visa, scholarship and funding for their education programmes in the US. Shankar Rao, Vice Consul at the US Consulate answered the queries of students.

Most of the questions posed by the students mainly related to funding and obtaining visa.
Alok Narayan, a BCom graduate, wanted to know the type of visa he should apply for to attend CPI examination, the US equivalent of chartered accountancy.

Another student who had completed her undergraduate course from a US university at its offshore campus in Italy wanted to know about submitting her original testimonials to apply for a visa.

There was also a question on parents accompanying their wards to the US.
