Karan Singh Grover, the host of ‘Perfect Couple’ on Channel V, shreds his romantic screen image as he dares to challenge his biggest fears on the show. Karan, the hottest and the most loved television actor and now the host of the show, guides the sizzling nine couples while performing grueling tasks all in the name of love.

During the journey on the border of Nepal and China, Karan had to confront the horror of shooting on a rope bridge with no support. He even had to teach the couples to perform a risky task to save them from elimination. The task included jumping off a 500-feet high bridge, which was over a river valley.

Karan had no idea how high the bridge was before he reached the location. He felt extremely sick after standing on it. At the same time, the crew was scared of the shoot getting delayed. In spite of being scared, Karan behaved professionally and encouraged the contestants to perform the stunts for their respective partners. The crew managed to finish the shoot on time without any trouble or hassle.

When in doubt, please the crowd!

Mani Ratnam’s visionary project of adapting Ponniyin Selvan, the Tamil epic by Kalki, into a movie has been canned. However, the lavish budget of Rs 100 crore won’t go for waste. Be it hiring expensive actors or spending on period finery, nothing will be wasted. Rumour has it that he has cleverly decided to use the same cast and crew to make a crowd-pleaser.

While movie-buffs are mourning the canning of Mani’s ambitious project, they are tempted to sigh in relief and wait for some well-picturised, commercial Mani Ratnam film replete with exotic song-and-dance sequences.
