Participating in a programme organised to distribute textbooks to eighth standard students at Chandakawadi Government PU College on Monday, he said Thammadahalli and Nanjadevanapura high schools of the taluk have secured 100 pc results. The parents should at least now make up their minds to admit their children to the government schools and utilise the benefits given by the State government, he said.
The onus of securing good results in the board exams lie on teachers. So those serving in government schools should strive hard to bring good results, he said.
He also assured to construct additional classrooms at Chandakavadi high schools and extend support for academic development of Chandakavadi.
