Yogish and Aindrita Ray.Raising a storm?

Namma Loose Mada’ continues with yet another remake, Dhool (Thiruvilaiyadal Arambham – Tamil original), teaming up with hottie Aindrita Ray. Of course, in a new ‘get-up’. The hapless journalist may be forgiven for suggesting that this look gave an insight into how Master Kishan would look when he grows up, with long hair and gadda-meese.

Coming to the film, do not dig for the title’s meaning. Director Dharani, earlier known as Raghavendra, director Rajashekhar’s son, has chosen Dhool only to “draw in the masses.”

Apparently, this Swamake loving director failed to convince his friend, who is also producing the film, to try and produce his stories, so that we get to see another remake. Composer Harikrishna is planning to re-mix Nanna Neenu Gellalaare while giving some ‘fresh’ tunes.

Prakash Rai, who played the heroine’s brother, is repeated here. Aindrita, who will be seen as his sister, is eager to dub for herself in Dhool.

Producer Sunil was on the defensive, saying he didn’t want to take risk right at the beginning. But, with dust pollution everywhere, was there a need to even try kick up a dust-storm (Dhool)?

Priyanka Kothari and Punit in Raj, The Showman. ‘Raj’ is here at last

Sigh. Phew! Punit starrer Raj has finally overcome the problem of shooting the last two showpiece songs. The songs have come out well. And Punit packs yet another punch with his naya avatar. Prem has certainly got his star look (at least) in the Paro song right. But what about Nisha/Priyanka Kothari? In most of the pictures, she looks uncomfortable and even unhappy.

Why? Is it something to do with the costumes she was given and made to wear or is it her co-star? While Punit seems to have overcome his discomfiture over such minimalism by his co-star, is Priyanka jealous of her hero who appears clad for the Arctic?

Whatever may be the reason, the result is sure to please fans of both Prem and Punit, who are already restless over the endless delays in the making of the film.
