JOIN USSpeaking with mediapersons here on Saturday he said a decision is in this regard will be taken after holding discussions with the chief minister on offering ministerial berths to the independent MLAs who had extended their support to the BJP government.
Eshwarappa clarified that he was not an aspirant for the ministerial berth. “As per the instructions of the national-level leaders, I have been serving as the president of the party’s state unit and will continue to remain so,” he added.
He further said the BJP has been supporting national issues for a good cause. It has also extended its support to yoga guru Ramdev’s struggle against corruption. Just because the party had supported Ramdev, it did not mean that Ramdev belonged to the BJP, nor was he an agent of the RSS, he clarified.
