Big guns storm into semifinals

While title favourite and multiple world champion Pankaj Advani blanked Jasim Tawin 150-(-5), his Karnataka State-mate B Bhaskar registered the tournament’s highest break of 494 to trounce ML Lakshan at the ECA Club.

Dhruv Sitwala eased past Rajiv Duseja 150-(-15) and Devendra Joshi powered past tricky IH Manudev 150-(-65).

In the semifinals on Sunday morning, Bhaskar will take on Sitwala while Advani locks horns with Joshi. The final will be played in the evening.
