Anonymous letter solves young girl's suicide case, 2 held

Shwetha Shree, I year B A student of JCBM College and daughter of Nagarathna from Nellikote had committed suicide about an year ago. Shwetha Shree was living in BCM Hostel in Sringeri. Balehonnur police had registered the case but due to lack of evidence, preparations were made to issue B report on the case.

Startling but true, Jayapura police station, which was started recently received an anonymous letter containing useful information pertaining to the case and accordingly the police reopened the file which was hogging dust and started investigation.

Based on the investigation, police arrested Subramanya, from Belavinakodige and Sudhakar from Kulugodu, Agalagandi and produced them before the court.

It is said that Shwetha Shree and Subramanya were in love with each other and due to some misunderstanding they decided to part away. After going to Sringeri, Shwetha fell in love with Sudhakar and discovering her new relationship, Subramanya started blackmailing her of informing Sudhakar about her past relationship with him. When Subramanya spill out all the secrets about him and Shwetha, Sudhakar and Shwetha’s relationship turned sour. Suffering due to this, Shwetha went to her sister’s house and committed suicide.
