Mystery shrouds boy's drowning

He took two rupees from his mother and went out to buy a chocolate. Sunitha filed a missing complaint after he failed to return. Some neighbours noticed a body floating inside the well and footwear near it on Tuesday.

They informed Suni­tha as well as the police. The body’s identity was ascertained after fire force staff retrieved it. The well had a protection wall of stone slabs, with a slab missing.
