Rs 5.50 crore for roads

Launching the Rs 75-lakh road project at Vajranagenahalli, the MLA said tenders would soon be floated.

He said additional rooms would be constructed at the primary health centres in Rajendrahalli, Nangali, Alangur and Gudipalli. “The State Government has released a sum of Rs one crore to tackle drinking water scarcity in the taluk,” the legislator added.

Addressing a Congress workers’ meet, Amaresh called upon Congress workers to strive for the victory of party candidates in the elections to Agriculture Produce Market

He advised the party cadre to be in regular contact with the voters. He also said workers should make all efforts to ensure victory, irrespective of the party candidate in the fray.

Taluk panchayat former president M Venkataravanappa, senior Congress leader Padakashti Venkatamuni and others were present.
