Arogya Chaithanya scheme from today

The programme is being organised jointly by the education department and health department. A total of 1,044 schools, both government and private primary schools, will come under the programme. As many as 391 high schools will come under the purview of the programme. About 3,17,487 students will be diagnosed during the programme. If the students are found suffering from any disease, then measures will be taken to provide suitable treatment. In case if the student is diagnosed with health related ailment, then free operation will be conducted at Yashaswini network hospitals.
