romantic 'The King Of Queens'Hilarious encounters

Big CBS Love presents of ‘The King of Queens’ on June 27 at 8.30 pm. ‘The King of Queens’ revolves around Doug and Carrie Heffernan, a loving blue-collar couple from Queens, New York, who share their humble home with her eccentric father, Arthur. After a long day’s work as a parcel deliveryman, Doug retreats to his home for some peace and quiet, which is often interrupted by Carrie’s father, for whom they have hired a dog-walker, Holly, to take him on walks.

Doug’s only refuges are the little time he spends alone with Carrie and the company of his buddy Spence, and his brother, Danny, whom he turns to for advice that just might make his life better, if he only bothered to follow it.

In this episode, Doug finds himself trying out for a semi-professional football league when he agrees to help Deacon coach Kirby’s football team.

 A sudden fall

National Geographic Channel presents ‘Air Crash Investigation — Doomed To Fail’ on June 27 at 11 pm.

On January 20, 1992, high over France’s mountainous Alsace region, Air Inter Flight 148 starts its descent towards Strasbourg Airport. An Airbus A320, this is the world’s first aircraft to rely mainly on computerised commands of control.

While its autopilot has been programmed to land on a specific runway, high winds and poor winter weather mean the pilots must take over the controls to land on another runway. Slightly off course, a controller guides the pilots as they prepare to make a visual landing. But as they descend through the clouds, the aircraft suddenly rips through the treetops below and slams into the side of a mountain. Can rescuers locate the survivors in time? And can investigators figure out what caused the crash? Tune into the show to find out.

 Passion for stunt

Gurmeet Choudhary aka Maan from Star One’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi has entertained the audiences with his acting skills but not many know that he is a great stunt director too.

The actor loves doing his own stunts and often provides his inputs during the shooting of action and stunt sequences.

He is trained in martial arts and has now been labelled the unofficial stunt director on the sets. Says Gurmeet excitedly, “I love performing all the stunts on my own. I like helping out with the action sequences too. My training in martial arts has helped me gain a better understanding of stunts. Of course there are risks involved but what is life without a little risk. I am doing all those stunts on my own.”

Gurmeet gets immensely involved in his stunts and is always prepared to perform them on his own. During the shoot for one of the scenes, Gurmeet ended up giving him a live demonstration as well.
He even gives tips to other actors. Some action-packed life we must say! Watch Geet Hui Sabse Parayi from every Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm on Star One.
