“All of us support his agitation against black money. We also condemn police crackdown on him at Ramleela Ground. But how can we endorse his commercialising yoga and charging huge money for yoga training? We can also not support his life style, using jet to travel. He has amassed huge wealth,” says Medha Patkar.
She, along with Swami Agnivesh and other civil society members, has been opposed to Ramdev’s proximity with Sangh Parivar, and never forgets to mention how Sadhvi Rithambara was sharing dais with him. Similar reservations have forced Anna Hazare and his associate Arvind Kejriwal to say “some issues are to be resolved before we allow Baba to join us”.
