Aldoor drain breeding ground for mosquitoes

The drain has waste dumped for about 1 foot in it and since the auto stand is situated right next to the drain, the rickshaw drivers are facing lot of problems. the foul smell from the drain has made standing in the area difficult.

The drivers have urged the GP to take steps to clear the drains off but pleas have fallen on deaf ears continuously.

Already three drivers have become victims to Malaria and the GP on the other hand has been postponing the cleaning works, said Geleyara Balaga Auto Chalakara Mathu Malakara Sangha President Ganesh.
