Foundation laid for Rs 4.57-cr building to Morarji school

He was speaking after inaugurating after laying foundation stone for the Morarji Desai Residential School, at a function organised by the Zilla Panchayat and the Social Welfare Department. The building is being constructed at an estimated cost of  Rs 4.57-crore near sericulture farm on Idaguru Road in Gouribidanur taluk.

Parents advised

He advised the parents to encourage students to participate not only in curricular activities, but also in extra-curricular activities and sports. He further said that the students should aim high and have noble objectives, and find fulfilment in life by achieving them.

Speaking on the occasion Legislator N H Shivashankarareddy said that teachers play a vital role in bringing forth the hidden talent of the students.

Deputy Commissioner Anwar Pasha, Chief Executive Officer Krishnappa Kodipalya, Bagepalli Legislator Sampangi, Zilla Panchayat President Vinuta Srinivas, Vice-President C Venkatesh, Taluk Panchayat President Jayamma, Vice-President Prakashreddy, Taluk Panchayat Member B g Venugopalreddy, Town Municipality President Saraswati Nagesh, Vice-President Kantaraj, District Social Welfare Officer C S Jayaram, Taluk Social Welfare Officer P N Satyamurthy and the zilla panchayat members from the taluk were present .
