Ration released


Akshaya (BPL) card holders are entitled to 4 kg rice (one unit) 8 kg rice (two units), 12 kg (three units), 16 kg (four units) and 20 kgs (for units five and above). Similarly, one kg of wheat (one unit), 2 kg (two units),  and 3 kg for units above five. Both rice and wheat will be sold at Rs 3 per kg. Kerosene will be sold between Rs 9.50 and Rs 9.70 for Akshaya APL card (non-LPG) holders. The card holders in Chikkaballapur and Chintamani will get 5 litres, those in Shidlaghatta, Gauribindaur, Bagepalli and Gudibande are entitled to four litres of kerosene. Card holders in rest of the area are entitled for three liters of kerosene, Deputy Commissioner, Anwar Pasha said in a release.
