The police were alerted by shepherds who took their sheep for grazing in the area. The police found the body of a youth between the age of 25 and 30, with his limbs tied up, in the gunny bag.
The Police after investigating the case said that the youth was tied up and put in the gunny bag and the culprits had filled the bag with paddy.
A large rock was then used to smash the head of the victim, destroying his face beyond recognition. The victim had ‘M G Raju’ tattooed on his left arm. The body was taken for autopsy and cremated immediately as it had started to decay. Circle inspector T D Raju and Station PSI Venkategowda visited the scene.
