The girl, whose parents are labourers, was attacked while she was relieving herself, they said. She was discharged after being administered first aid in a government hospital, police said.
Senior city corporation officials, who visited the spot, said they would take care of the girl's medical expenses and also take stringent steps to curb dog menace.
However, no police complaint has been lodged in the incident.
A two-and-a-half-year old boy was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs on June 30 while a girl of the same age was injured when she was attacked by a dog at Uttarahalli in the city two days later.
